Who We’re Looking For:

GoPursue is hiring a full-time Account Executive to exponentially grow our B2B SaaS sales function. Working directly with the CEO and our executive sales coach, you will run end-to-end sales cycles.  Your target customers will be small, mid-sized, and enterprise employers in the mid-atlantic region who are recruiting early talent for hard to fill or high volume roles.

  • has a passion for improving talent pipelines, and solving for the most pressing issues in early talent acquisition today. 

Candidates must reside and work in Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia. In-person and hybrid are possible in the Washington DC & Northern VA region, otherwise this position will be primarily remote with occasional regional travel to meet with priority customers.


Ideal Candidate Competencies:

  • Full-Cycle Sales Execution: You’ve personally owned deals from first outreach to signed contract. You know how to build your own pipeline, run discovery calls, handle objections, and close without relying on a BDR or sales engineer to do it for you.
  • Hunter Mentality: You don’t wait for leads, you create them. You’re energized by cold outreach, comfortable with rejection, and have a track record of exceeding quota through your own prospecting efforts.
  • B2B SaaS Sales Experience: You’ve sold software to businesses before and understand multi-stakeholder buying processes, procurement cycles, and how to navigate decision-makers vs. champions vs. end users.
  • Startup Readiness: You’ve worked in a company under 100 employees or you’re prepared for what that means: no playbook, limited tools, wearing multiple hats, and building the plane while flying it.
  • Coachability: You actively seek feedback, implement it quickly, and view skill development as part of the job, not something extra.

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous experience working in HR, recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce development industries.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales.


Key Responsibilities
:

  • Generate revenue by selling GoPursue products and services to employers.
    • Lead full-cycle sales process, from outbound prospecting to closing deals.
    • New account acquisition through prospecting activities including cold calls, referrals, cold emailing, sequences, and qualified lead list building.
    • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline including CRM management.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and other key performance goals including new account acquisition, renewal rate, and win rate.
  • Collaborate with a small, close-knit team to shape sales strategies, product offering, and overall company growth direction.
  • Represent GoPursue’s mission and values in every interaction, building strong relationships with customers.


Compensation Package:

  • OTE base+commission: $150,000 – $250,000. Optional equity in the company, allowing you to grow with GoPursue.
  • Hybrid is possible in the Washington DC & Northern VA region, otherwise remote with occasional regional travel.
