Even if students hold identities that have been historically underrepresented (such as race, gender, orientation and more), they can build a network of professionals who share those identities and successfully close the gaps we see in the workforce today.

Why this?
A Story from Our Founder
At 17, I committed myself and my family to $120,000 in college debt to pursue an undeclared major. I had no idea what careers existed beyond doctor, teacher, lawyer and CSI agent, so people advised me to "figure it out in college." Not everyone can afford to do that.
For the last decade, I've worked in K12 schools that push every student to college without mandatory career exploration or work-based learning opportunities. We pipeline students to higher ed banking on the idea they'll "figure it out" later. This is just part of the reason Americans have $1.75 Trillion in higher education debt and a 40% average dropout rate.
We have the technology and connectivity to help our students discover their career potential before this pivotal point, so why not provide it to all students? In a completely new way?

Scroll through profiles of real professionals to find careers & jobs you like. Create a library of favorites to take with you. When you want to learn more about a career, you can DM professionals with questions.
B) Can I create an account without an email address?
No, right now you'll need an email and phone number.
C) Why haven't heard back from someone I messaged?
Everyone on this app is volunteering their time, so it may take a few days up to a couple of weeks for someone to check their app again. We're working on adding push notifications to help.
D) The career I want isn't on here. Why not?
We're getting this app out to people as quickly as possible. Please let us know which careers we should recruit by emailing the career(s) to this Email.

If they want to learn more, they message you with questions. You give back to your community and empower future generations by sharing your career stories and lessons learned along the way.
B) What's the time commitment?
You get to choose! Creating a profile takes 15-25 minutes. That could be it! If you want to continuously support students, you can answer their questions for any amount of time you choose. Maybe that's 10 mins/day, 30 mins/week, or 4 hrs/mo. It's up to you and your schedule.
C) Do I have to message with students?
No. We ask professionals to make career profiles, so students can at least hear your advice and job details. You can always opt out of messaging.
